In many different industries, including building, jewelry, sculpture, and technical drawing, relief art is used. This relief art is frequently used in crafts, sculpture, and decorative work. Depending on the model and the area to be worked, different relief materials are needed. For instance, materials that can carve marble are used to create relief applications on marble surfaces, whereas entirely different materials are needed to create relief applications on paper. 

Materials called relief pastes to create relief artwork with three-dimensional qualities. However, these works are given dimension and the reliefs are colored using relief pastes. The relief method is referred to as a cake since it resembles cake cream. Uses for relief paste are numerous and include the food industry, industrial domains, agricultural fields, technical drawing, leisure activities, and daily living. It’s a substance made to give surfaces made of wood, metal, polyester, porcelain, and glass an embossed, three-dimensional texture.
