HOW ARE NIRMAL PAINTINGS MADE
In Nirmal painting, we can notice that the background is always in a dark shade and they also use a lot of gold color. You can use cardboard or canvas. In the olden days, they used wood, in that case, you can also use teakwood. On the plain cardboard or canvas first, apply primer smoothly. Now after it dries out completely, you can start tracing your sketch onto the surface. After tracing is done you can start painting. Make sure that the background is always dark/black.
