Simply acrylic and Simply pouring medium should be combined in a 1:4 ratio. Put 1 knob of color and 4 knobs of pouring medium in a jar. Repeat this process for each of the many colors that will be used.
If the paint flows thinly and consistently along a palette knife, the consistency is good. You should be able to compare the mixture’s consistency to custard. When the mixture is prepared, you can either begin working directly on the wooden support or pour it into a container with a pointed tip.
