You can experiment with a wide variety of pouring materials today. They come in a vast variety, and while their main function is to enhance the fluid dynamics of your paintings, mediums also have certain useful functions. 

To change the appearance of your piece once it has dried, you might apply glossy media. Alternatively, you could just use a regular medium and finish it off with a glossy coat. 

The term “all-purpose” describes the majority of pouring mediums. They’ll generally improve the consistency, flow, and binding of your paints. As examples of well-known pouring mediums that are regarded as “all-purpose,” Floetrol and Liquitex are excellent.
