Pastels are basically compressed sticks of color pigment, binder, and chalk. Pastels use a different binder. Pastels can be used on any medium, such as paper, canvas, or cardboard. Pastels are considered to be more of a dry medium, making them great for indoor and outdoor art.

SOFT PASTELS
