SIMSUM ARTS

There are many different sizes, styles, and hair types available for paint brushes. It finally comes down to personal preference when choosing paint brushes for watercolours. Your decision will depend on the watercolour techniques you prefer to use, how much money you have to spend, and how different brushes feel in your hands.

Watercolour brushes contain flexible bristles that allow for simple page movement. They are also made to hold a lot of water so they won’t dry out in the middle of a stroke.

Numerous shapes and varieties of watercolour brushes are available. Round brushes, Flat brushes, Mop brushes, Cat’s tongue brushes, and Liner brushes are among them.

There are different brush sizes, and the higher the number, the wider the brush. Sizes typically grow from 0 to 10, then increase in  intervals of twos or more, all the way to 24 or even large.
